PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
US Bank, Saint Paul, MN May 2004– Present
Managing the end to end development of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) applications. Application development includes Natural Speech as well as Touch Tone applications. Extensive use of the RUP process and tools to include ClearCase, ClearQuest. Moving the project from viability to the company stage, through executive approval, requirements gathering, design, development and deployment. The purpose is to allow the customers to receive up-to-date information, or allow them to update their instantly and easily without having to speak directly to a person. Work .

Accomplishments
• Delivered the ATM/Branch Locator application through a series of challenges to timeline, budget, and interpersonal conflicts.
- Migrated teams from current application methodology to the bank standard Rational Unified Process.
- Successfully lead a new FraudWatch initiative through the conceptual stage through definition leading to corporate budget approval of $700,000

DISTANCE LEARNING PROJECT MANAGER
DCSIM (Directorate of Information Management), Saint Paul, MN Sept. 2002 – May 2004
Responsible for the development of highly interactive, instructionally sound, Web-based courseware to support SCORM/AICC conformant learning environments. Led cross-functional teams in the gathering of business requirements, development of logic flowcharts, program encoding, preparation of test data, as well as the testing and debugging of programs.

Accomplishments
• Developed web enabled LMS (Learning Management System) for deployment and management of distance learning courses:
- Enabling student/soldier distance learning management.
- Allowing administrative management to assign identified courses to select individuals.
• Created methodology for course development and deployment for student and administrative use.
• Intimately involved with instructor led course planning to develop distance learning when appropriate.

PROGRAM MANAGER
Espiria, Minneapolis, MN April. 2001 – Sept. 2002
Responsible for all the enterprise-level Information Technology Security audits and solutions. Responsible for all facets of project management and the successful delivery of quality customer Information Security solutions. Realized strategic business goals through astute management of consultant resources, equipment, budget and time.

Accomplishments
• Significantly improved existing management of projects by implementing best practices using a modified version of Rational Unified Process (inception, elaboration, development, deployment) for project completion.
• Defined the steps and documentation needed to execute a successful security rating branded SecureCompass (including discovering vulnerabilities discovered to industry regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GLB or ISO).

Managed multiple implementation software development projects. Additionally, acted as bridge between client and team relationships. Focused on Internet and client/server development projects employing appropriate methodologies and best practices for successful project conclusions.

• Developed response to RFP and managed team responsible for winning the Best Buy Entertainment website valued at 3.3M.
• Led teams through Discovery, Design and Development on various projects.

PROJECT MANAGER
Periscope Marketing Communications, Minneapolis, MN Sept. 1997 – Sept. 1999
Managed the development of Internet applications utilizing cross-functional teams to create the appropriate internet application solution, to include:
• Created project plan (mapping initiative for entire life-cycle).
• Maintained the project focus regarding budget and timing.

Accomplishments
• Guided core requirements gathering for internal 3M Human Resources intranet site.
• Improved 3M HR’s ability to handle an increased workload while trimming the necessary resources.
• Assisted in evolving the way Arctic Cat communicated with their customers as well as their dealers, improving ‘parent to child’ communications.
• Delivered the newly built Peace Corps site on time, making it available for the grand opening in Washington DC.
